ANORECTAL MALFORMATION (ARM)

DR. Francis.O.Osawa a Senior Lecturer and Paediatric Surgeon oversees Mmed resident Dr.Said Sh Mohammed operating on a child with Anorectal malformations (ARM) assisted by Dr.Hetal Gohil (Mmed resident) and Dr.Irene Mutua  during ARM workshop.

The workshop was held in two operating theatre simultaneously from 23rd may to 26th may which led to more than 24 children undergoing surgery

 Anorectal malformations (ARM) are birth defects in which the anus and rectum (the lower end of the digestive tract) don’t develop properly.
