Kenya Society of Plastic Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgeons (KSPRAS) in collaboration with Kleft-Kinder Hilfe and University of Nairobi's Dept of Surgery conducts free cleft camp surgeries through out Kenya.
Britam a leading financial services group will spend over Kenya shillings one million in sprucing up of UoN Department of Surgery during Covid-19 pandemic closure.
This came about following a courtesy call by the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Britam Dr Wairegi. The CEO on behalf of Britam offered to spruce up the department after a meeting with the chairman Dr Julius Kiboi.
Prof. Isaac Macharia is the new Equity Group Holdings Board Chairman.
Prof. Macharia’s appointment was made by the Equity Group Board on 30th June, 2020 following the retirement of David Ansell.
Dr. Julius Kiboi Chairman Department of Surgery joined postgraduate student from the department to encourage them as they continue to offer essential services to patients during the coronavirus disease (COVID-19) pandemic.
The students are Dr. Mora, Dr. Hudson Kamau, and Dr. Oluka.
Dr. Naomi Kebba successfully completed her Master of Medicine (MMed) in Thoracic and Cardiovascular Surgery from the University of Nairobi.
Dr. Kebba will be travelling back to Uganda Heart Institute (UHI) Mulago National Referral Hospital, where she works.
