All work and no play would make Mike a dull neurosurgeon

Dr.Michael Augustus Achianja Magoha, MB ChB, MMed-NS is a young brilliant neurosurgeon and lecturer in neurosurgery at University of Nairobi's Department of Surgery. His research interests are neurological infectious diseases and neuro-oncology. In his free time and in order not to become a dull or boring neurosurgeon, he indulges in music (guitar), plays basketball or paints. We have attached four of his original paintings to show case his artistic talent.

In this artwork by Mike Magoha is Pterional craniotomy which is considered the workhorse supratentorial approach by neurosurgeons due to its relative simplicity and flexibility in providing surgical access to the anterior and middle skull base.
