OTORHINOLARYNGOLOGY, HEAD & NECK SURGERY UNIT/Ear Nose & Throat UNIT

Course Title & Duration:  Masters in Otorhinolaryngology, Head and Neck Surgery degree (MMed ORL-HNS) of The University of Nairobi (UoN). This is a five-year programme offered at UoN's Kenyatta National Hospital (KNH) campus and also at accredited external rotation sites.

Philosophy:  The philosophy of teaching shall be based on adult learning principles inclined towards realizing the needs of the learner in a learner-centred approach.

Former Chair of the Department of Surgery Peter L. W. Ndaguatha was in a seminar and workshop on advanced kidney stone management on 10th September, 2019.

The conference and workshop was well attended by world renowned experts in this field.

The event was held in Hyderabad India where Prof. Ndaguatha explored areas of collaboration between Department of Surgery and various urological institutes in India.
