This is the incredible story of a bright Kenyan boy who serendipitously got into medical school in Germany and went on to become one of a handful of top surgeons in Kenya.
Oxford University and The Nuffield Department of Surgical Sciences conducted a Non-Technical Skills Course for University of Nairobi (UoN) Department of Surgery graduate students and staff from 9-11 December 2019. The course facilitators were Prof Ashok Handa and Dr Tony Jefferies. The two accompanied by Professor Pankaj Jani on Wednesday December 11, 2019 met the UoN College of Health Sciences (CHS) Principal Prof James Machoki and discussed plans for formalizing collaboration between the three institutions.
