Dr. Mark Awori, Senior Lecturer and Cardiothoracic Surgeon oversees Mmed residents operating on a patient with Retained Haemothorax (RH).

Retained haemothorax is a condition that results from inadequate or inability to clear the pleural cavity of blood.

Dr. Julius Kiboi, the Chairman of the Department of Surgery was present in the theatre to observe and encourage the team that consisted of Dr. Mutie, Dr. Ojinda and Dr. Moraa.
