October 2022 Malindi Hospital Head and Neck Surgery Camp

In October 2022, Dr Joyce Aswani (UoN OtorhinoLarngology Thematic Unit Head) together with her Kenyan team collaborated with an American team in execution of a Caris Foundation sponsored Head and Neck Surgery Camp at Malindi Hospital in Kenya. The Kenyan team was drawn from University of Nairobi (UoN), Kenyatta National Hospital (KNH) and Kenya Medical Training College (KMTC). The American team on the other hand was led by Professor Netterville from Vanderbilt and also comprised of ORL-HN Surgeons, Residents, Anaesthesiologists, Nurses, Speech/Language Pathologists and Pathologist.
