University of Basel student talks about reliving rotation experience

The Department of Surgery hosted Marius Gûntert, a medical student from University of Basel in Switzerland for a month during his rotation in the thematic unit of Neurosurgery.

Gûntert said he had a nice learning experience during his stay in the department that will go a long way in advancing his medical career.

“I spent 4 weeks at Kenyatta National Hospital mostly in the thematic unit of neurosurgery and could collect so many impressions and memories for my whole life. I saw interesting cases, met a lot of inspiring people and could assist in surgeries,” Gûntert said.

Gûntert was grateful to Dr. Michael Magoha and Dr. Mustafa saying they were so willing to teach him and helped him have an unforgettable time.
