SMILE TRAIN is the world's largest cleft charity. The organization offers free cleft treatment in Kenya and the rest of Africa. It is also involved in enhancement of reconstructive surgery capacity for Africa and is currently partnering with University of Nairobi (UoN) in this regard. In 2021, SMILE TRAIN signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with UoN in support of doctors from African countries seeking to train as Plastic Surgeons at UoN (See the accompanying poster for details).
