The 16th AMSUN International Research and Scientific Conference was hosted at the Faculty of Health Sciences from 28th to 29th May 2026. This prestigious event brought together brilliant minds from across the global medical fraternity. The conference was officially opened by the Associate Dean of Undergraduate Studies, Prof. Rose J. Kosgei.
Dr. Nyaim Opot, Chairman of the Department of Surgery, spoke at the event, having been invited by AMSUN to deliver the keynote address. Dr. Opot has long been recognized not just as a departmental leader, but as a devoted friend and mentor to the student body. Beyond his academic role, his vision and guidance were profoundly instrumental in the meticulous planning and execution that made this year's scientific conference a resounding success.
