Neurosurgery is a rapidly growing unit in the department of surgery and to make it a world class a networking seminar like the one organized on 9th December is necessary. The event was graced by Prof. Julius Ogeng'o (DVC Academic Affairs). the neurosurgeons present were Prof Griffith.R.Harsh,Prof.Douglas Kondziolka (Editor-in-Chief of NEUROSURGERY® Publications) , Dr.Julius Kiboi (chairman dept of surgery),Dr. C.K.Musau (neurosurgery thematic unit head) and Dr Michael Magoha among many.
Prof.Douglas Kondziolka Editor-in-Chief of NEUROSURGERY® Publications in his presentation painted a picture of his journey and contributions in digitizing neurosurgery research and comparing his method to other AIs( Artificial intelligence)
Prof.Julius Ogeng'o (DVC Academic Affairs) congratulated the neurosurgery unit for organizing such an event and thanked Prof Griffith.R.Harsh for being part of the unit, he also urged students to make use of the data in KNH in their research. In his part the Chairman asked the guest to assist the unit with material and resources.
