Buffalo Bill of the American wild west got his nickname after literary killing the highest number of buffalos in a competition. The academic staff of University of Nairobi (UoN) nicknamed their 7th Vice Chancellor 'Buffalo' because of his dynamism and great deeds.

Leaders of conjoined twins separation surgery decorated with MBS

The separated twins, Blessing and Favour playing with their mother in the ward. Inset: Dr. Fred Kambuni (L) and Dr. Chris Musau (R), the two were awarded the Order of the Moran of the Burning Spear (MBS) by President Uhuru Kenyatta after leading a medical team that successfully separated the twins in November.

The twin girls, Blessing and Favour who were separated early last month in a landmark operation. They are recovering well six weeks after the surgery.

The twins who were separated by a medical team from the University of Nairobi and Kenyatta National Hospital six weeks ago are recovering well.

Dr. Daniel Kinyuru Ojuka was among 1,823 Initiates from around the world who

became Fellows of the American College of Surgeons (FACS) during the Convocation ceremony at the College’s 2016 annual Clinical Congress in Washington, DC, in October 2016.  The year 2016 class of Initiates was among one of the largest ever admitted into the College.
