The Department of Surgery is pleased to announce the appointment of Dr. Nyaim Opot as Chairman of the Department for a three-year term, effective September 2025. He succeeds Professor Ojuka, who has been elected Dean Faculty of Health Sciences.
Dr. Opot, a distinguished general surgeon and academic, brings a wealth of experience in clinical practice, teaching, and research to his new role. The Department warmly congratulates Dr. Opot on his appointment and extends its sincere appreciation to Professor Ojuka for his exemplary leadership and dedicated service.
